National Memorial Chorten, Thimphu

More than 72 percent of Bhutan’s geographical area is under forest cover. Much of the country looks like a carefully planned and maintained parks. However, they are natural. It is interesting that the country’s constitution mandates that the country should have at least 60 percent of its area under forest cover at all times to come. Human settlements are sparse and blend so well with the natural environment. People say that Bhutan could be one of the last developing countries living in complete harmony with nature. People believe that the valleys, hills and mountains are a home to gods and goddesses.

Raven Tours and Treks has an interesting Nature Tour itinerary. The objective of this tour is to ensure our guests enjoy Bhutan’s rich biodiversity.
